With more than 100 employees under its arm, the Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining and improving our infrastructure, providing garbage collection and disposal services, cleaning streets and drainage systems, maintaining City-owned buildings and facilities, and much, much more. We are dedicated to improving our residents' quality of life by providing exceptional service efficiently and equitably.
Department Responsibilities
The department's responsibilities encompass a variety of infrastructure-related services required for our city to function which includes regularly scheduled maintenance and repair of all city-owned facilities, vehicles, equipment, parks, rights-of-way, streets, drainage, and the storage, collection, and transportation of all refuse generated by residential, commercial and institutional structures within the corporate limits.
