City of Fort Pierce Commissioners Seek Applications for the Keep Fort Pierce Beautiful Board

FORT PIERCE, FL – City of Fort Pierce Commissioners invite community-minded residents to apply for seats on the Keep Fort Pierce Beautiful board. This valued board, appointed by the City Commission, is dedicated to engaging, educating, and empowering citizens to actively participate in initiatives aimed at fostering a cleaner and more visually appealing city.

The mission of the Keep Fort Pierce Beautiful Board is to spearhead efforts in litter cleanup, waste reduction, recycling programs, and community beautification projects, all aimed at enhancing the overall well-being and prosperity of Fort Pierce. By collaborating with local stakeholders and residents, the board endeavors to cultivate a sense of pride and ownership in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment across the city.

Board members meet monthly on the third Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Fort Pierce Garden Club. These meetings serve as a platform for brainstorming ideas, coordinating initiatives, and fostering partnerships that contribute to the city's aesthetic appeal.

Interested individuals who are passionate about contributing to the betterment of Fort Pierce are encouraged to apply. Applications for board membership can be accessed on the City of Fort Pierce website at https://cityoffortpierce.com/144/Boards-Committees. The deadline for submission is Thursday, July 10, 2025.
