Public Hearing for Affordable Housing Advisory Committee Recommendations to City Commission in January 

FORT PIERCE, FL – A public hearing to present the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC) recommendations for 2025 will take place during the regularly scheduled City Commission meeting on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 5:05 PM in the Commission Chambers at Fort Pierce City Hall, located at 100 North U.S. Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL.

The core responsibility of the AHAC is to recommend strategies that incentivize the production of affordable housing within the city. Once approved by the City Commission, these recommendations may be incorporated into the City’s Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) for implementation.

Public Review and Comment Period

A draft of the AHAC recommendations will be available for public review and comment for thirty (30) days, beginning December 17, 2024, and concluding January 16, 2025. The draft can be accessed on the City’s Grants Administration website at:
